Email: mccarthy_a2@ohlsd.org Coach McCarthy is a 2016 graduate of Oak Hills High School, where she was a key part of the Highlanders volleyball team. She played all four years on varsity and earned First Team All-GMC honors as both a junior and senior. This is her fourth year coaching at Oak Hills, and in 2024, she was named GMC Coach of the Year — a big honor that reflects all the hard work she’s put into the program. Outside of Oak Hills, Coach McCarthy is also the Assistant Director at CYVBC Surge, where she’s coached for the past seven years. She’s worked with teams at both the National and Open levels and brings a ton of experience from the club scene. Coach McCarthy is all about bringing energy, passion, and pride to everything she does. She truly loves the game and the Highlander community.
