Robin Hoernschmeyer | Head Coach | rhoernschmeyer@gmail.com | more details | |
My name is Robin Hoernschmeyer, I’ve been the Head Girls Bowling Coach at Oak Hills High School since 2012. I am a 2005 Oak Hills graduate who attended the University of Cincinnati earning my degree in Middle Childhood Education. I spent 6 years as a substitute teacher in the Oak Hills Local School District before making a move into the nonprofit world. I am currently the Development Assistant at Ohio Valley Voices; a school in Loveland where children who are deaf and hard of hearing learn to listen and talk. I myself am an avid bowler, bowling pretty much my entire life. I rolled my first perfect 300 game in 2021 at Western Bowl! I was a member of the Oak Hills Girls Varsity Bowling team from 2003-2005. During the 2004-2005 season my team and I advanced to the state tournament, placing 5th as a team and I placed 2nd overall individually. I grew up in Delhi and still live in Delhi with my family and our 5 pets. During my coaching career I have had 3 teams place 1st in the GMC, I have received the GMC Coach of the Year twice, have had numerous bowlers make 1st and 2nd team All-Conference, and have had 1 bowler advance to the State Tournament individually. Last year was the largest turnout for the girls bowling program and I am looking forward to another incredible season with our bowlers! |
