Coach McCarthy is a 2016 graduate of Oak Hills High School, where she was a standout member of the Highlanders Volleyball program. She competed at the varsity level all four years of her high school career and earned First Team All-GMC honors during both her junior and senior seasons. Coach McCarthy is entering her sixth year coaching at Oak Hills. In 2024, she was named the Greater Miami Conference (GMC) Coach of the Year, recognizing her leadership, dedication, and continued commitment to the success of the Highlander Volleyball program. In addition to coaching at Oak Hills, Coach McCarthy serves as the Assistant Director at CYVBC Surge, where she has coached for the past nine years. Her extensive club volleyball experience includes coaching teams at both the National and Open levels, providing her with a strong background in player development and high-level competition. A proud Oak Hills alumna, Coach McCarthy brings energy, passion, and Highlander pride to the program. Her commitment to the game of volleyball and the Oak Hills community continues to positively impact her student-athletes both on and off the court.
