Games for the Cause Wrap Up

Posted on: October 26, 2022

Thanks to the OH Football, Cheer, Girl's Tennis, and Boys' & Girls' Golf teams, coaches, and families for hosting their Games for the Cause event at the varsity football game on Friday, Oct 21st! A great victory on the field and for PRG!

Thank you to Lynn Supe for organizing the event and to her volunteers who came out to help at the event! The raffle baskets donated by our families, teams, and community were incredible, and we had many happy winners!

A special thank you to our guests Ginny Miller and Jen Miller who joined us at midfield prior to the game for the coin flip!  Both women have battled breast cancer and we thank you for representing all those affected by cancer. We also honored Highlander football player Jimmy Breeze's dad, Mike Breeze, who passed away in April of prostate cancer.  The Highlanders wore blue ribbons on their helmets to honor Mike.

As usual, the Red Sea showed up full force in pink, and we can't thank you enough for your support all season!

The event brought in almost $2900 which will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Girls' Organization!

Thank you to everyone who supported the Highlanders and the Pink Ribbon Girls this fall season! We will have the total of our donation to PRG at a later date and will present the check to PRG at an OHHS basketball game this season!
