Bowling

The girls bowling team currently has a record of 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the GMC.

We have 4 matches left, tonight at Mercy McAuley, Monday the 10th at Fairfield, Tuesday the 11th home against Princeton and Thursday the 13th home against Seton.

The girls had wins against the following schools in January:

vs. Lakota East by 437 pins!

vs. Mason

vs. Harrison

vs. Ursuline

They had losses to:

Colerain

Hamilton

Mount Notre Dame

On January 18th, the Freshman and our only Sophomore bowled in the Crusader Challenge at Crossgate Lanes. Freshman Elena led the team making the All-Tournament Team as the 5th highest bowler at the tournament. As a team the girls ended up in 4th place.

We have also had 2 GMC Athletes of the week in January: Senior Jamie Mays the week of the 20th and Freshman Avery King the week of the 27th.

Leading the team is Junior Paige Mettey with an average of 161.9 good for 13th overall.

Close behind are Junior Kateri Hennessey with an average of 155.6 and Senior Becca Jones with an average of 155.1, good for 16th and 17th overall in the GMC.
