Girls Fall To Princeton

Posted on: January 14, 2019

Junior guard Dy’Jhanik Armfield scored a season-high 25 points and sophomore guard Kelsey Listerman scored 11 points and added a team-high 7 rebounds but it wasn’t enough to knock off the No.6 rated team in the state as Princeton held off Oak Hills, 51-44.

The Highlanders fell behind early but rallied in the second half behind the play of Armfield and Listerman and senior guard Camryn Gramke, who added 7 points. Oak Hills cut the lead to 40-36 with a little over 2 minutes remaining in the game, but missed a couple of key chances to score down the stretch and the Vikings sealed the win at the free throw line.

Oak Hills is now 5-7 overall, 1-7 in the GMC. Princeton is 12-0, 7-0 in the GMC.

The JV squad lost 31-19 and is 9-3 overall, 5-3 in the GMC.
