9/16: vs. Seton at Miami Whitewater

Oak Hills: 200

Seton: 191

Sam Nuss: 45 (team medalist)

Maggie Stewart: 66

Seton is one of the top ranked teams in the Southwest region. In our first match-up with them this season, we lost by 28 strokes. Through hard work, the team was able to bring that loss down to just 9 strokes this time! Sophomore, Sam Nuss, was once again our team medalist. She scored her Miami Whitewater season low and was almost the match medalist! Sophomore, Erin Kumler crushed her current average with her overall season low score, helping our team to keep the score close! Freshman, Maddie Cain, stepped up from the JV team and contributed to the 4 lowest scores for the team! And Lydia Essert continues to be a steady contributor to our team's success!

9/17: GMC's, Day 1 at Walden Pond

Oak Hills placed 6th of the 10 GMC teams

Sam Dudley was our team medalist! The team pushed hard, with great help from Dudley, Nuss, Essert and Cain to push into 6th place on the first day of this GMC tourney!

9/18: GMC's, Day 2 at Walden Pond

Oak Hills placed 5th of the 10 GMC teams

Oak Hills: 406 on 18 holes

Maggie Stewart: 144

On the 2nd day of the GMC tourney, we worked our way into 5th place! This came from strong scoring from Lydia Essert (team medalist), Sam Nuss, Sam Dudley and Lucy Rankin. Sam Dudley was our team MVP with consistently low scores both days. Nuss, Dudlely and Essert were our returning players in this tourney from last year. Together, they improved our team's score by 78 strokes!!! Their efforts throughout the season and off-season made a considerable and remarkable difference for our team! Lucy Rankin improved greatly from Day 1 to Day 2 and Erin Kumler came in with a very strong finish for her first high school GMC tournament!

Tonight, we celebrated our favorite golf family member, Senior Lily Lang! Colerain golfers were great sports as we had a few fun activities on the course! We came away from the night with another GMC win! Maggie Stewart had one of her best matches of the season! Nuss had her personal best round at Whitewater! And Essert and Rankin contributed strongly to our team's win. 3 of the boys' golfers joined us in supporting the girls all the way through their round with great encouragement! And the evening was topped off with a big celebration in the clubhouse for Lily! Much thanks to Miami Whitewater, the Boys' Golf Team, Colerain's golf team and our awesome golf families!
