Oak Hills Girls' Golf defeats 2 GMC schools in their first competition!

Posted on: August 11, 2020

Oak Hills Girls' Golf opened our 2020 season with a tri-match vs. Hamilton and Princeton and brought home a very big win! Our team score was about 30 strokes better than our team average through the 2019 season!
Freshman, Debra Brogan was medalist for the entire match, with a score of EVEN PAR!!!  Amazing!
Freshman & JV standout, Cora Mundstock played as an extra in her first high school experience.  This was a varsity level course with all varsity players and she did NOT disappoint!
Juniors, Samantha Nuss & Lydia Essert and Sophomore Lucy Rankin shot their personal bests at this course.  And their best wasn't anything to be ashamed of! They were impressive!
Senior Maggie Stewart and Junior Erin Kumler have been working extra hard, practicing and their hard work paid off! Their skills are all coming together in great support of the team.
Senior Natalie Raussen played in her first varsity match at this challenging course and played like it was something she was completely used to!  She had a blast and was a great asset to the team.
Sophomore Maddie Cain crushed a bunch of beautiful drives. Even after an accident a few weeks ago that resulted in a broken finger and one less fingernail, her drives were the envy and awe of everyone watching!
Look out!  These girls are ready to chalk up wins all around Cincinnati this season!
