We have some Highlanders nominated for Beacon Orthopaedics Team/Athletes of the Week! Please VOTE for Girls' Basketball, Ava, August, and Emery until 4pm on Friday!

Top Ohio Girls' Basketball Team of the Week

Oak Hills – The girls gave undefeated Mason a tough test in a 41-39 loss on Saturday and also beat Seton and Colerain earlier in the week.

Top Ohio Big-School Girls' Basketball Player of the Week

Ava Kammerer, Oak Hills – In wins over Seton and Colerain, she had identical stat lines of 22 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. She also had 23 points, five rebounds and two assists against Mason.

Top Ohio Boys' Swimmer/Diver of the Week

August Foland, Oak Hills – He improved his time in the 100-yard backstroke to take second place in 1:00.21 at the Best of the West. He also improved his time in the 200-yard individual medley, finishing in fifth place in 2:17.84.

Top Ohio Girls' Swimmer/Diver of the Week

Emery Charles, Oak Hills – She won the 200-yard freestyle at the Best of the West meet, improving her time to 2:08.56. She also was the 100-yard breaststroke runner-up and helped two relays to top three finishes.
