Top Ohio Football Team of the Week

Oak Hills – The Highlands retook the lead from Turpin late in the fourth quarter, beating the Spartans 31-20 for Oak Hills’ first opening week win since 2018.

Top Ohio Big School Football Player of the Week

Jaxon Schreiber, Oak Hills – The senior quarterback was 10-for-17 for 118 yards passing, connecting with Jacob Day for a passing touchdown. His running game made the difference, as he ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns, including an 8-yarder and a 29-yarder to clinch the 31-20 win over Turpin Aug. 19. It was the Highlanders’ first win since October 2020.

Top Ohio Boys' Soccer Player of the Week

Joel Harris, Oak Hills – The junior scored two goals in a 4-0 win over Carroll.

Jaxon Schreiber, Oak Hills, Sr, QB/DB – Did it all in the Highlanders’ triumph over Turpin, throwing for 118 yards, running for 109 yards, accounting for three touchdowns (one pass, two rush), with reception for six yards and interception for 18 yards.
